Upon arrival at FEUP and Portugal, there are still a set of procedures that must be finalized so that you can finally start to make the most of this great experience.
You will be invited to a reception/welcome session, so you should regularly check your FEUP e-mail address, where you will receive concrete information about that session.
Here are some other things to keep in mind:
To complete the last step of your enrolment you need to visit Academic Services. There you will be given information about the amount that you will have to pay in tuition fees during your period of studies
Find out more about Academic Services here.Ipoint will be your point of contact throughout your stay for any questions or difficulties in which you need additional support.
Ipoint is located in room A215 and is open to help students from monday to thursday between 9:30 and 12:45. You can also direct your questions to the e-mail ipoint@fe.up.pt.
You can ask for your login and password at CICA’s (Prof. Correia de Araújo Computer Centre) helpdesk
If you so wish, you can also take your laptop or mobile phone to the CICA helpdesk and ask to have its wireless options configured.
You pick up your student card at the CICA helpdesk. It gives you access to the library, so you can borrow books and other materials. It also allows you to access the laboratories where you will be working, to enter FEUP during non-working hours and to use the car park.
Besides the student card, there is a U.Porto card through which you can enjoy unique advantages in the access to a wide range of services/initiatives promoted by the University and partner institutions.
